In an exclusive interview, an Afghan woman who escaped the Taliban speaks with CBN News and expressed her feeling of hopelessness at the situation. She begged Americans and the world not to give up, not to forget Afghanistan. In the chaos at the airport, she made it out with her kids but the rest of her family was left behind. CBN concealed her identity because of the risk her family faces in Afghanistan since they all helped the American military for over a decade.
