The original meaning of a scale was to measure the true value of something. The out of sync scales in our society must be balanced once again. We cannot give away our freedoms, pandering to agendas like political correctness. We can’t stretch the truth to make people feel better. Whose scales are we using to manage the issues of the day? Are they strong and accurate enough to endure the burdens of an entire generation? No. Our current scales are far too weak and corrupt. The burden of this reality is there whether you accept it or not. Politically correct scales, social scales aren’t accurate enough to bring balance to our world. God’s Word is truth. His scales of righteousness are the only scales that are valid, having been balanced once and for all at Calvary.
