World leaders have condemned North Korea’s latest missile, an ICBM fired into the sea near Japan. It’s the second major weapons test for the communist country this month.

5 people were killed and over 2 dozen wounded when a gunman opened fire at a gay nightclub in Colorado Springs Friday night. A heroic patron was able to wrestle the gun away from the suspect, likely saving many lives.

A “blockbuster” snowstorm dumped up to 6 feet of snow in parts of the Buffalo area in upstate New York. At least three people were killed in the storm.

And Azerbaijan’s parliament approved opening an embassy in Israel Friday, making it the first Shi’ite Muslim nation to do so. The embassy will be in Tel Aviv, not Jerusalem.
