A day earlier, he said Ukraine would call for Russia to be removed as a permanent member of the UN Security Council due to its continued strikes against civilian infrastructure in its war against Ukraine. Russia’s Foreign Minister said Moscow’s proposals for “demilitarization” and “denazification” are known to Kyiv. Either Ukraine fulfills them, or the issue will be decided by Russia’s military.

But Israel’s PM Netanyahu is aiming to secure a peace deal with Saudi Arabia in exchange for sidelining an annexation plan for Judea and Samaria. Netanyahu said, “This is a very important goal because if we have peace with Saudi Arabia, we are effectively going to bring an end to the Arab-Israeli conflict.” It’s unclear how the Religious Zionism party, which campaigned heavily on a pro-settlement and pro-annexation platform, would react should Netanyahu break his promises to them in favor of peace with Saudi Arabia.

Good intentions or not, there will be no real peace until Jesus returns.
