Tom #Brady Retires Again, Nikki #Haley Running in #2024, and Another #Fed Rate Hike Coming #shorts
Nikki Haley, America’s U.N. ambassador under President Trump and former governor of South Carolina, says she’ll be a candidate for president in 2024. She’ll make her formal announcement on February 15.
Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell may announce an interest rate hike again today, although financial markets are hoping for a rate cut to boost the economy. Powell is concerned about the lingering inflation threat.
And in a post on social media, seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady announced that he is retiring “for good.” Brady briefly retired after the 2021 season before returning to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He is the most successful quarterback in NFL history and one of the greatest athletes in team sports.
