Conspiracy theory
After violent attacks by Islamic extremists, uninformed people want to blame all Muslims—alienating more Muslims and polarizing things further; and some even more stupid people want to blame all religious people (including all Christians), thereby further marginalizing all peace-loving believers as if Islamist radicals and secular radicals are the only voices worth considering. It almost looks like a conspiracy: see 2 Cor 4:4; Eph 6:12.
