This is a video of a fascinating and insightful discussion
on the U.S. Colored Troops in Mississippi. The event was hosted by the Mississippi
Department of Archives and History on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at the Two
Museums in Jackson, Miss.
 
I served as a panelist along with Dr. Albert Dorsey Jr.,
center, assistant professor of History at Jackson State University. Mr. Michael
Morris, director of the Two Museums, served as moderator.
