‘It’s the Plane of Today’: Biden Admin Mocks Newest US Military Branch, Space Force | CBN News
White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki received criticism for mocking the newest branch of the military, the space service branch under the Air Force called Space Force. After receiving a question asking what the Biden administration’s plans were for Space Force, Psaki sarcastically dismissed the thousands of people working to protect America via the ever expanding nature of threats we face, given the advancements in modern technology.
Psaki later walked back the comments and said she welcomed hearing from Space Force and learning more about their mission and invited them to the briefing room. Chief of Space Operations Gen. Jay Raymond said he would be happy to take Psaki up on that offer, explaining that much of the work Space Force does to date is classified, making it difficult to explain their daily functions and rally support from Americans.
