Here’s Why a Chicago Pastor Is Camping on ROOFTOP During ‘Brutally’ Cold Winter for 100 Days

Pastor Corey Brooks has “made a commitment to God” to stop the violence happening in Chicago no matter what it takes. Pastor Brooks would love to open a community center that kids can feel safe going to – as shootings are becoming increasingly commonplace in Chicago. Just before this interview, for example, Brooks says a shooting happened nearby.

To bring attention to this need and hopefully fulfill it, Brooks is embarking on the insane task of camping in a tent on a rooftop throughout the notoriously cold Chicago winter. Brooks vows to not come down until the end of February.

The dedicated pastor spoke with Billy Hallowell of CBN’s Faithwire from the rooftop.
