Report: Human Traffickers Posing as Pastors Along Ukrainian Border
Christian aid workers providing relief for the countless children and families fleeing Ukraine after Russia’s invasion describe the horrific scene unfolding and the additional dangers they face in besides the war itself.
Natasha Boom with Orphan’s Promise said during a prayer event hosted by CBN News, that “I tried to prepare myself but there’s nothing that can prepare you for seeing so many children so traumatized. In about an hour, I saw thousands and thousands and thousands of children, babies, toddlers, lots of mothers and it was chaos … it was pure chaos. Children screaming, children not being able to speak because they’re so severely traumatized.”
Natasha explained that human traffickers are, despicably, taking advantage of the chaos and confusion and posing as pastors and aid workers in order to abduct these vulnerable children and youth.
Natasha also spoke of how God moved in the hearts of many aid workers several years ago to move them to Poland. Unsure why, they now see how God has prepared them for this moment.
