America’s national debt hit a record $31 trillion, its highest level ever. The national debt has climbed nearly $8 trillion since 2020 with $1 trillion coming in just the last eight months.

The OPEC+ alliance of oil-producing nations decided to cut production. The result could be a gasoline price hike just weeks before the US elections.

And, President Joe Biden joined Florida Governor Ron DeSantis to help residents devastated by Hurricane Ian. Biden promised federal aid and praised DeSantis for his response to the storm.
