On Monday Moscow claimed that Ukraine used drones to strike two air bases deep in Russian territory. The Kremlin retaliated with a missile barrage against Ukrainian cities, raising concerns about an escalation in the war.
The GOP is planning to investigate Twitter after Elon Musk released details suggesting the social media giant suppressed stories on Hunter Biden’s laptop leading up to the 2020 election. Ranking member of the House Oversight Committee, Rep. James Comer, vowed to hold “Twitter employees and Democrats accountable” for censoring the story.
And after reports emerged that Iran was disbanding the morality police, Iranian state media released a statement casting doubt on that claim. More women in Iran are dropping their headscarves in public, signaling a possible relaxation of rules, while others fear a crackdown.
