‘There Will Be Massacres’: Armenian Christians Reportedly Face Dire Threat at Hands of Azerbaijan
Chaos is once again brewing over Nagorno-Karabakh, a small, landlocked region between Armenia and Azerbaijan. This land, filled with Armenian Christians, has been in dispute for quite some time. But the chaos is escalating this week with Azerbaijan reportedly blocking the only road into Nagorno-Karabakh. Joel Veldkamp, head of international communications at Christian Solidarity International, told CBN’s Faithwire about the blockage, why it’s dangerous, and how he fears an armed military conflict could unfold as a result. This blockage is preventing people and supplies from going in or out of the region, with reports Azerbaijan has cut off some energy supply.
