A vast storm system ripping across the U.S. killed at least three people in Louisiana, producing tornadoes across the state.
Russia’s Foreign Ministry is warning that if the United States delivers sophisticated air defense missiles to Ukraine, it would be a “provocative move” that could prompt a response from Moscow. U.S. officials plan to send Patriot missile systems to help Ukraine fend off Russian airstrikes.

And Georgia’s top elections official urged lawmakers on Wednesday to end general election runoffs, saying there is a “wide range of options.”
