Addressing a joint session of Congress, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that “against all odds” his country is still standing. He thanked US leaders and the American people for the multiple billions of dollars in support and vowed Ukraine will “never surrender.”
Benjamin Netanyahu called Israeli President Isaac Herzog just before Wednesday’s midnight deadline to announce he’s formed a coalition government. The new government will likely be sworn in in the coming days, giving Netanyahu his sixth term as Israel’s prime minister.
And Cryptocurrency entrepreneur Sam Bankman-Fried is expected to make his initial U.S. court appearance Thursday on charges that he swindled investors on his FTX trading platform. Bankman-Fried was arrested in the Bahamas last week and was flown to New York late Wednesday.
