If Nasrallah attacks Karish gas field, Lebanon will pay the price – Gantz

φαρμακεία is pharmakia and translated withcraft in the new testament. Pharmakia means drugs and booze. I’ll often hear a man call it “self medicating.” This includes drinking and weed and dope. Things like this altar a man’s personality. Clouds his judgment, corrupts the morals of a man and pulls down his will.

“Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,…”
— Galatians 5:19,20

Pharmakia is used again in Revelations
“Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.
— Revelation 9:12

“But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”
— Revelation 21:8

They are just physical substances but they open up the Spirit world. Especially methamphetamine. It’s interesting that the Greek word Pharmakei means “sorcerywitchcraft” is translated drugs in English. This is where we get pharmacy, pharmacist. Etc

What about Pharmekeia?

This Greek word is interesting. As noted, it is used for medicine, drugs, or spells. The purpose of many drugs used for depression is to put you under a spell or alter your thinking. They is what they are designed to do. In some cases, this is needed. However, most times it is actually going against the purpose of God for the person.
The word is used twice. Once in Galatians and once in Revelation.

In Galatians 5:19-21 we see the first use. It is related to the use of witchcraft. Paul was very careful to make sure it knew it was related to many other issues of the heart.

The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
In the midst of sexual immorality, drunkeness, hatred, selfishness and envy is pharmekeia. You can read this as “The acts of the flesh are obvious…. fornication, getting drunks, taking medicines, doing drugs….” Anything that alters the mind is of the evil one. It is the work of the flesh and inspired by the evil one.

Revelation 18:23 takes it a whole new level. While Paul said that using mind altering drugs were of the flesh, John the Revelator takes to the spiritual realm of angels and demons. Let’s take a look.

The light of a lamp will never shine in you again, Nor will the joyous laughter of a wedding be heard in you. Your merchants were once the tycoons of the world, But you deceived all the nations by your sorcery.
The reality is that the companies that make meds and illegal drugs are tycoons. They have made billions off giving people addictions. They have deceived people all the world by their usage of pharmekeia. The enemy, Satan, is inspiring people to profit off people’s addictions and it is deception and witchcraft.

You should never purchase oil’s that have Pagan or Satanic mumbo-jumbo mixed in their advertising mainly as a testimony and to not support their evil efforts. But just like with music we should never allow the devil to hijack what the Lord has created. In Africa the medicine-man (Herbalist) is one of the more harmless of what might begin to be termed witchcraft. In my opinion the line should be drawn when you start invoking spirits or the names of ancestors, etc. in the same way with essential oil‘s the names that they are given may determine whether you should use them or not. People who practice paganism, magic, witchcraft and Satanism use herbs and drugs to weaken them and alter their state of consciousness so as to be more susceptible to the spirit world. The Bible forbids us from doing this.

  1. ?Medically yes. Its safer and far less addictive than other anti anxiety anti depressants that doctors prescribe. And much safer. And it doesn’t get you high.

    1. CBD? The alternative for anxiety would be xanax or klonopin and those destroy people’s lives and are extremely addictive and send people to rehabs all the time. You don’t hear that from CBD. It doesn’t give a high. You can look up any random report you want and you will find that CBD is less addictive.

    2. Addictive substances trigger a release of dopamine in the brain’s pleasure centers and over time, the body becomes dependent on the substance, experiencing withdrawal symptoms if a person stops using it.
Because CBD does not produce an excessive release of dopamine, it cannot get you high and there is no “euphoria” present that is commonly associated with other opioids, benzodiazepines, and even nicotine.
Instead, CBD actually works to balance the levels of neurotransmitters in the brain—if there is too much of one neurotransmitter, CBD will help to lower it, and if there isn’t enough of another, CBD will help bring it up to a balanced level. Plus, because CBD is not addictive, when you stop taking it, there are no “cold turkey” withdrawal symptoms.

  2. I am 100% for the use of CBD. It is safer than most medication that are socially acceptable. The medical benefits far outweigh the stigma surrounding it.

    1. Troy Day they approved Epidiolex. Which contains CBD for seizures and have okayed parts of hemp as safe for food.
Some CBD contains thc, yet not all of it contains high enough doses to have psycoactives affects on the one using it.
I have had my own experience using it and did not have any withdraw when I stopped taking it.
There are pros and cons with any medical treatment. There are many drugs the FDA approved that have destroyed lives and killed people.
Show me research that supports CBD causing side effects such as these.

    1. There are some great books available from CBD, and I’ve been blessed by them. BUT there’s also charismaniac garbage and documentary hypothesis trash available from them.

  3. Isn’t it just pot in a oil form. They have banned it several towns and counties in Texas. If you are caught with it in Fort Worth, Texas you are arrested and charged. So it must be bad, not for me. In fact how many people do you know that uses it.

    1. Cbd oil does not get you high and can be bought at any health or vitamin store. I find it hard to believe you can get arrested for it. You can buy it legally online and it is not against federal law. This oil can help with several neurological disorders.

    2. Bobbi Goff Klein no. CBD is not pot. THC is the compound that can make one high when abused, not CBD. CBD is a compound found in canibinoids, but has no effect on your mental state. It will soon be a clarified vitamin.

  4. From what I hear and read, it is not the part of the marijuana that makes one high, and cannibinoids (sp?) are found in other plants in lower concentrations. There are supposed to be some health benefits.

I’m not really into dumping my money into all the newest herb supplements and superfoods. I prefer to eat fresh vegetables, but I may eat a little capsule of spirilina or something like that if we acquire it somehow. I’m not going to condemn people who take health supplements.

There may be a legal issue here with some states banning it if it comes from cannibis, even if it isn’t something that gets people high. I believe it was recently legalized in Georgia. I see signs advertizing it.

  5. Double-bind here is, it may be state approved like in wacko CA, but it remains a Federally banned substance. Don’t get caught trying to get on a plain with it!

    1. CW Sellers TSA isn’t actively looking for cbd or thc but if they find it they can report it to authorities. So no. TSA agents aren’t looking. The lady you speak of had it in the open.

    2. CW Sellers ??‍♀️ been using for 10 years. Been “shunned” by my sister pastor but that hasn’t changed my faith or my relationship with christ. Way better than the seizure meds that gave me suicidal ideations. And I don’t do luck. I believe in christ so keep your luck.

    3. Crissy Cotto, there is never a reason not to speak you mind in love. I’m from a family that has beat cancer 8 times. The last was brain cancer and my sister says she gains relief from CNDs and THC. It’s her body not mine. I’m a former cop, see where I’m coming from, I have watched that stuff lead to so much family destruction. There are always two sides to every story. I just want to be on God’s side of the story. It’s her personal choice, not mine.

    4. Crissy Cotto, you may feel that way but Really! There are bad ones but you can’t accuse them all. It’s like the ethnic Hate these days, not good.

    1. Troy Day
What about Jesus words ” it is not what goes in through the mouth which makes a man unclean but what goes out…..from the heart.
If the intake doesn’t affect the heart but the digestive system, let them eat knowing also that Eve also ATE of the fruit and died…
Troy I can’t say this kind if stuff opens doors for demons…but I read somewhere that continual.dependence on medication….(Win Worley teaching…Norman Parish)

  6. Depends on what it is being used for. Pain, yes, but check with doctor for bad drug interactions. However, not for anxiety or depression, this would just be like any other drug, taking the place of Jesus. People should also be aware of cancer causing agents found in CBD, something the advocates for it, don’t want you to know. So, if you think you may enjoy cancer, I would suggest trying it.

    1. Philip Warstler vaccines cause cancer the ingredients they list are carcinogenic. Of course scientists in other countries that studied our vaccines found multiple ,in double digits, ingredients they couldn’t even identify. Some ingredients they claim are in them were missing and some ingredients were way higher than the legal dose.

  7. Troy Day vaccines open spiritual/demonic doors. Did you vaccinate your kids? I find it amazing when I hear Christians talk about CBD but believe in pharmaceuticals and vaccines. How well Satan has snuck in the back door. Did you know that over 100 aborted babies were used in the making of the current vaccines? And ONLY last year 436 deaths due to vaccines reported to VARs? That was just in the US. And just the reported ones. Did you know that you don’t hear about any of this because there was a Act passes in the 80’s protecting vaccine companies from liability which is also why their current vaccines don’t have everything the company says are in them. Did you know in the Bible when they sacrificed babies to Molec (spelling?) the purpose for sacrificing the babies was for the health and prosperity of their own family. To say you can inject murdered babies and kill 436 children for the “greater good” or the “Health“ of your family is no different than what they did in Biblical times. Troy if it had been your child killed by vaccines I would not promote or touch a vaccine knowing that it was even just one child dieing for mine, I wouldn’t give it to my kids if I knew only one would die for it. Did you know injecting another humans DNA causes an autoimmune response thus autoimmune disorders for life? You can say your children are fine now but their will be things popping up. Did you also know that God said not to mix spices in multiple places in the Bible? In fact God tells us in 1 Sam 15 to kill the entire amalekite people and all of their animals bc they were preforming abominations mixing animals with people, preforming canabalism etc…then of course genisis the Nephilim are a mixed spices causing giants and God said he was not ok with it. And vaccines don’t just contain dead babies they contain animal DNA. So your injecting murdered humans and animals(different spices) into your kids and yourself if you get the flu vaccine. Did you know God always has a good reason when he asks us not to do something. Did you know vaccines are responsible for Type 1 diabetes, cancer, epilepsy, SIDS, multiple mental disorders causing kids to commit suicside etc.. , ADHD, Autism, just to name a few.

But your telling me a plant that has no THC that heals a lot of the damage that vaccines caused should be illegal?

  8. Charles Page Did you know that over 100 aborted babies were used in the making of the current vaccines? And ONLY last year 436 deaths due to vaccines reported to VARs? That was just in the US. 9. Crissy Cotto pls give us the scoop and I am being serious here So you use the product like you would coffee (maybe) and after use all is good. And then you go to pray and God speaks and all is good? (I am not mocking anything just wanting to observe the spiritual dynamics)

    1. Troy Day seriously nothing has changed. I don’t use it to smoke with friends. Whenever I get focal seizures, I take a puff or two and the twitching stops. Actually I haven’t had any in three weeks and I am so sick from Tegretol (my current seizure medication). God still speaks to me via dreams. Actually spoke to me recently about something I was dealing with. I also make food. You don’t have to smoke it. I make salad dressings. I am knowledgeable about marijuana. There are sativa and indica strains which both do different things. Not all strains are created equal so it’s not like I go and smoke anything. Its like choosing between tylenol and advil or motrin. There are differences. And I drink more coffee than I use THC by the way and thank you for not mocking me or shunning me. Not many ask the way you ask and make me feel horrible.

    2. Thanks I hope you understand I am really being serious and not trying to make fun even when you say a puff or two Now when you go pray is there any condemnation in your Spirit or do you treat it as coffee – I want to know the dynamics

  10. Leah Norkus Kraus we are aware of the vaccine issue but what does it has to do with CBD? Are babies injected with CBD? Do 2 lies make on truth?

  11. good Christians I know a few who use CBD oil for sleep and pain What do yall think about that? Link Hudson Joe Absher Charles Page in regard to entire sanctification ?

    1. Troy Day wine or coffee is my only chemical stimulant. The Holy Spirit gives the inspiration. Do you like the live@5 videos? Should I continue with them. Do they stimulate your mind to the things of the Lord?

    2. From what I have read and heard, CBD oil is a cannibinoid, a type of .substance found in many plants. It is supposed to have health benefits for cancer patients and also to help with people who have problems with their mood, but it is not supposed to get people ‘high.’

THC is the chemical in marijuana that gets people high. I do not know a great deal about CBD oil, though. Is drinking coffee or tea wrong? How about chamomile or kava? Is it unsanctified to consume drinks made out of these substances?

  12. And I thought you guys were referring to Christian Book Distributors (CBD). Thought they might have turned to selling the Devil’s books or something like that. You didn’t explain.

    1. Troy Day They were wearing white lab coats in on eo fthe videos, so it must have been true. 🙂

It’s not my field. That is what I have heard and read. I’ve also heard of it calming people’s moods, so there may be more to that element of the substance than I realize.

  13. And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.
    Genesis 1:30

    He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth;
    Psalms 104:14 KJV

For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God:
    Hebrews 6:7 KJV

  14. I’d SAY NO I say unto thee BUT pls note that CBD became legal under TRUMP and look @ the church now Michael Ellis Carter Jr. Nelson Banuchi

    1. Troy Day it’s a natural herb that the lord gave ? in all seriousness elements of CBD was used in the original anointing oil. Kaneh-bosm in exodus 30:23 how do we wrestle with its usage even though that oil is not to be made again.

  15. Peter Vandever Since this is marijuana based, with no real science to back it up, this is still an illegal drug in many states. Marijuana causes schizophrenia, it is natural that God would forbid it. The Greek word for Witchcraft is the word we get for Pharmacy.

    1. ok but…The father created everything on Earth for us to use some things need to be used in moderation some things don’t need to be used by certain people, everything from the earth is for us to use not everything is beneficial.
At no time anywhere in the Bible does the father say you shall not use herbs you shall not drink he says be sober-minded which does not mean Controlled Substances it means be sober in his Spirit from the world and its distractions
Which so many if you don’t realise his technology.
So yes you can use herbs and drinks no you should not be a pothead where you can’t function nor should you be a drunkard and alcoholic
      Self control

    2. Troy Day actually CBD oil isn’t extracted from marijuana. While it is present in marijuana it is not in a higher concentration. The compound THC is the predominant cannabinoid in marijuana. CBD doesn’t have the psychoactive effects that THC does. There are many medical benefits of CBD including stimulated nerve growth and damage repair of tissue. Most CBD oil is extracted from hemp which does not have THC compound in it, at least not in any concentration that would be enough to affect the human body.

  16. Troy Day, You need to get up to speed on CBD. It goes not get you high. It works with the body’s own endocannabinoid system and is very helpful for many people as an herbal supplement for many things. It is not marijuana. It is a wonderful plant based medicine.

  17. Praying that you all use discernment when choosing to use supplements, we can not put supplements in place of Jesus by doing so we can create idols in our life Jesus does heal us but also delivers us from infirmity we need to truly be walking in the spirit and asking the lord what to do honestly! God bless you all

    1. thank you we do need such reminders . have to admit I was loading up on vitamin C . but the Lord Jesus delivered me from the covid anxiety ? Jesus is good that way !

  18. Jon Sellers Cleston Walton As Peter Vandever already stated I probably DONT need to do ANY of what you are saying IF I wanna stay saved It is not about getting high here Its about traces remaining in your blood stream especially when consumed with water and you test positive and under the influence DUI on drug tests

YOU need to very deeply consider that with buying CBD you support the marijuana industry …

This country used to be going to hell in a hand basket With CBD seems like now the church is too…

    1. Ignorance ? Really? Jon Sellers WHY resort to name calling? We just had a young lady whose husband failed drug test and lost his job in midst of pandemic. He has never taken drugs in his life if you dont count recently resorting to CBD and that occasionally. So you before you post me some liberal article check your facts and tell me another one. BTW just to establish where your passive aggressiveness comes on this topic, are you indirectly supporting the drug industry using CBD too?

    2. Troy Day ignorance is not name calling. The definition of ignorance means simply lacking in knowledge about a particular subject. I did not call you stupid and I don’t think you are. So no name calling.
It is not a liberal article, it is simply science.
As the article says (did you read it?) there is not a ZERO chance of a positive drug test, but a very small one. So the practical thing to do is stop taking CBD one or two days before the drug test.
It is fully legal in all 50 states.
It is not marijuana. It does not make you high.
      It is not Big Pharma.
It is simply an herbal supplement that has scientifically verified benefits for the body including reducing pain and anxiety, helps some people sleep, reduced inflammation, etc.
If you really want information search for health benefits of CBD.
Here I did it for you.
      https://www.healthline.com/health/cbd-oil-benefits

    3. I am not passive aggressive. I just find a lot of opinion posted on this page that is lacking in facts or any degree of research.
      I encourage informed opinions.

    4. Jon Sellers That is precisely the definition followed by defensiveness.etc. BTW this is a group not a page Everyone is free to post and defend their posts. As a group we extend grace to those who differ in doctrinal conclusions as we hope they also extend that grace because we both serve the living Christ. As to the issue, the man lost his job – tell me another one

Now this is from your own “fact checking”

Will CBD Oil show up on a drug test?
… There are a lot of factors at play here and the simple answer is – it’s complicated.

#exactly BTW you never answer if you support the marijuana industry by purchasing CBD products

    5. Troy Day so what do you know about the marijuana industry? What if I tell you that CDB products are sometimes made by hemp plants that are not marijuana plants and therefore are not part of the marijuana industry?
      Would that answer your question?

I do NOT support the legalization of marijuana for recreational use. It is bad for people’s health. It is bad for their mental health and it is wrong to be intoxicated.
But there is a place for medical uses of marijuana extracts. That is scientifically proven.

    6. Jon Sellers I already admitted I dont know nothing You already called me ignorant – what else? I do know however that the gentleman got fired over positive drug test because of CBD – that’s a fact! I’ve never done drugs but as Peter Vandever I do believe that the Biblical pharmakia refers to sin straight forward and that much of the money made support homosexuality sex trafficking and other crimes That’s a fact

Oh BTW being a chaplain for a long time I did sit on many drug related arrests and connected events But that was long ago before the liberal agenda you described was pushed on our society in the ways you just described above

    7. Troy Day so if your doctor gave you a prescription would you take it? Aren’t all drugs pharmakia?
      Are they all sinful?
I don’t have an interest in arguing about all this. Do what you are led to do.

    8. Jon Sellers I have refused morphine before and would refuse it again I believe Peter Vandever would too Sure, we can drop it if you are not interested in a discussion but pls note you came strong about it calling names, blaming the group etc. You are entitled to your opinion but pls respect the others too I was under the impression we had a good discussion going

    9. Troy Day I repeat, I did not call names and I did not blame of the group. I simply made observations. But Troy it is hard to talk to you about CBD when you keep repeating things that are just not true and you haven’t bothered to look into the facts. I feel bad for the guy that got fired, but what other circumstances were surrounding his drug testing? And there are literally thousands and thousands of people that are experiencing great benefits from it. Would you deny them?
It is not sin to use herbal medicine made by God.

    10. Jon Sellers now you are calling me a liar ? ignorant, group is bad and now repeating things that are not true. Interesting escalation in name calling! Based on what? Sorry I dont do well with passive aggressiveness – I tend to call it out and the ones who practice it are often offended by that Peter Vandever already explained the demonic behind “herbal medicine” in the practicing of pharmakia #OhWell

  19. IS CBD a problem for Christians abroad? China, Africa, etc. ??? Isara Mo Joseph Castillo RichardAnna Boyce Thangsan Hisfootstep

  20. I use it and THC too. So what?

I did not always, but I use it now as a medicinal treatment for GvHD as a result of a Stem Cell Transplant which I needed to cure a nasty case of primary myelofibrosis (aka leukemia).

    Here’s my nonnegotiable bottom line:

Unless the Bible says “thou shall not use canabis” I’m using it because it works!

    1. Kurt Kostenbader yeah lots of help there Hope it doesnt get you high or have to take drug test There was a lady in this group I forget which on She said her husband lost his job being on CBD but most ppl dont mind it Point well taken

    2. Kurt Kostenbader
      YOU’RE RIGHT BROTHA!

      Check this out!

“Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth grass, the HERB THAT YIELDS SEED, and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth”; and it was so. And the earth brought forth grass, the ? HERB THAT YIELDS SEED AFTER ITS OWN KIND, and the tree that yields fruit, whose seed is in itself according to its kind. And GOD SAW THAT IT WAS GOOD.”
      ‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1:11-12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

    3. Troy Day

    4. JoSe VaZqUeZ sure but GOD didnt say for you to go smoke it too now did he? Do you also eat snails, snakes, lizards, worms, etc? Isara Mo

    5. Troy Day
He never mentions how to consume the fruit either. Are we wrong for eating it versus drinking it in smoothies? You make no argument. My answer was backed by scripture and you’re flying opinions out your mouth. Where is your proof text preacher?
You better be preaching the truth to your congregation and don’t use your personal feeling to twist the word of God

    6. Troy Day
C’mon brotha you’re losing the argument.
I’m proving you wrong with scripture. Here’s another one for you.

“Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you. I have given you all things, even as the GREEN HERBS ?.”
      ‭‭Genesis‬ ‭9:3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

    7. JoSe VaZqUeZ what argument am I losing 🙂 Come on you just lost the counter-argument without a doubt

    8. Troy Day

“For the earth which drinks in the rain that often comes upon it, and bears herbs useful for those by whom it is cultivated, receives blessing from God;”
      ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭6:7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

    9. JoSe VaZqUeZ so you were gonna get saved but you got high? Is this what you wanna us to believe 🙂 Your body temple of the Holy Ghost and so on verses

    10. Isara Mo our friend was gonna win this argument but he got high … JoSe VaZqUeZ I backed mine with Scripture too EXCEPT mine actually had to do with OP 🙂

    11. JoSe VaZqUeZ 1 Corinthians 6:19 Do you not know that your body is a temple ? Now your turn to give us a verse where GOD says its OK for you to get high

    12. JoSe VaZqUeZ
      Jose you are wrong there.
Satan offered Scriptures to Jesus in the wilderness but that didn’t make him a true preacher.
Quoting scripture doesn’t qualify one as a true preacher

    13. JoSe VaZqUeZ dont run away YET I gave you plenty too chew on for the day 🙂 Sorry – you asked for it and your hate speech will not save you now

    14. Troy what is this pollution on my thread.

As I suggested earlier, this is nonnegotiable and unless you show me the passage that clearly states that I cannot use God’s good creation for my own benefit, then I’m using canibis. I have not yet found it, maybe you have.

      I ? don’t smoke.

As you are aware, God has given us two books: the Bible and Nature.

Why would God create a canibanoid receptor in our body if it is such that we were not supposed to use canibanoids?

      Thank you Jose.

Btw, getting “high” is not the point. The point is using non narcotic and other less poisonous medications to treat serious illnesses (leukemia in my particular case).

What is your actual beef with those of us who are obviously more informed on the subject? Answer me, I really want to know.

      Peace.

    1. where is the LINE? its like drinking – when it starts being a sin? not to mention other sins

    2. Troy Day well, here’s the thing. I stated medicinally…ie like a prescription. Take for example my wife’s sister. Fibre mialgia and lymes. Plus she has more allergies than the state of Texas! But that is another story. She uses the purest form of cbd she can find. She is on disability. Taught kindergarten fer 18 years. But the only thing that helps the pain is cbd. The line? Pain.

    3. Troy Day well when the day comes and you are in chronic pain, that “but” will disappear. Lol… I am a truck driver, so I can’t. But if I could, I would..??

    4. Troy I will tell you that I am a recovering alcoholic. As such, I went years without taking communion (cuz, wine).

Wine can be used to excess as well. So where is that line?

I think the biblical rule is to seek out moderation.

  21. JoSe VaZqUeZ really? I gave you plenty of Scripture You wanna go abuse the Temple of God smoking pot – you go right ahead Dont forget to get saved first

  22. I have a Christian friend who has eliminated his epileptic seizures with marijuana when nothing else worked. There is nothing wrong with this. Getting high just to get high is another story. But CBD does not get you high so I’m not sure what the problem would be.

  23. Isara Mo how sad our friend Jose was gonna engage in theological discussion right here but went to get high on CBD 🙂

  24. Isara Mo Neil Steven Lawrence how SAD – ppl talk theological smack on the internet all the tiem Then one day a real theologian comes and confronts them they start cussing and run away like little sisssys

  25. I believe God made marijuana to the benefit of mankind. He made no mistakes. The problem with marijuana, as well as some grains, fruits, and veggies, is that man has mingled the seed. God commanded against sowing mingled seed in the Torah, and said the fruit of such would be DEFILED. Farmers and scientists have been constantly creating hybrids to yield crop with certain desired results, not understanding the unintended consequences. Nuts and seeds have been made less bitter, removing their effectiveness to fight certain diseases. Grains have been bred to be more resistant to pests by increasing their lectins – which are damaging to our digestive systems. Fruits have also been defiled in many ways…

Marijuana has been hybridized several times over to increase it’s THC content. It is a bastardized form of the original herb which God created. That herb had a much higher ratio in CBD as opposed to THC. It was healing, soothing, and therapeutic.

God made all things in perfect balance. Unfortunately, man continues to play God.

    1. I mean this out of love ” God made all things in perfect balance” isn’t biblical. Unless of course you mean there is no flaw in his art work itself. No where in the Bible does it say that drugs are ok in moderation, though I will admit this is a tough question.

    2. Tim Crow when he made the earth and the plants and the trees that bore fruit, did he not say it was good? The point is, there is a difference between what he created, and how man has defiled that creation. Was marijuana not created by Him?

  26. Troy Day that was a complete message… Along with your quotation from “moi”- indeed ‘pharmekia’ has always been inspired by demons and abused by man to make him more susceptible to the spirit world. It’s a dangerous road to go down and one that spirit filled Christian‘s need not contemplate. CBD is simply a wedge to get the culture to agree to marijuana which today is 10 times more powerful than in the 1960s!

  27. Troy Day I’d like to hear how he came to the conclusion you’re a false teacher?? After all being an Apologetics group, we depend on Biblically sound evidence to back up what we claim.

  28. Danny Kircharr that was after I posted the LONG argument with BIBLE, Scripture exposition and few practical implications of the Greek behind it But HEY NOW this is FINE I cant stop everyone out there who wants to go get high BUT at least dont get high and say For the Bible tells me so… #justSayin

  29. It has good uses but most are using it for selfish purposes. In Washington there is a shop on every corner. I used to dab everyday but God showed me I needed to quit. I was watching a documentary called Hellstorm about what happened in Dresden in WWII and on the verge of tears with empathy for the civilians killed by allied bombing (more in one day than Germany dropped on Britian the entire war) and took a dab and suddenly couldn’t feel anything at all. Couldn’t cry. It’s a crutch for most people. It is useful for people who can’t hold down any food or cancer though and some other purposes.

    1. Chloe that’s terrible. I would not watch anything about wwii if I was mood altered.

Do you think it’s okay to use it as many will use a glass of wine at the end of the day?

I’ll tell you that canibis is a lot less debilitating in my body that is alcohol. Should that be a consideration in this discussion?

    2. I don’t think people really should be doing anything to their sobriety that lessens it. If someone medically needs it, fine, but I don’t like drinking or smoking or anything ‘to relax’. I feel it’s a very bad way to spend any of the end times and selfish.

      1 Peter 5:8

    1. For the same reason “social drinking” is a bad idea, though hardly forbidden. Letting our freedom become a stumbling block, even potentially, is pure selfishness.

    2. Steve Losee but they are saying CBD is prescribed while social drinks are not Or some similar logic

    1. I believe it can get you high to some extent Had a member whose husband was fired testing positive on a drug test using only CBD oil I also believe Jereme McAlpin to be using some while doing his theological frontology – no punt intended

    2. Jo Kothenbeutel so no opiate pain killers if prescribed by dr too? Because those get you high.
Personally i think its about abuse, if your abusive of the drug no. If its legit medical then use it. Its here for a purpose. We just justify our abuses of these things.

    3. Troy Day

You can’t get high from CBD, it has a mild relaxant effect similar to that of camomille tea.

It is not a mind altering substance, and has many benefits such as its potent anti inflammatory properties.

If CBD is pharmakia, then so is drinking coffee and eating chocolate.

    4. Jo Kothenbeutel as soon as you drink a beer you are technically drunk and under the influence, as soon as you drink coffee, caffeine kicks in. So what’s the difference with cbd?

  30. CBD cannot get you high. Come on people? it’s FAR more dangerous to take medicines prescribed by doctors. It’s actually safer to be taking oils with thc than dangerous opioids. This is why God created that leaf. For medicinal purposes.

    1. a members husband got fired cause it showed positive on his drug test – tell me another one

    2. Hayden Ariaz I wouldnt resort to personal attack like you I simply presented a real life case. It was not my purpose to refute your reply If I wanted to do that I would have said that there are poisons out there but you dont go take them do you? Now then its one thing to say you enjoy it and blah blah but its another to say God created it for you to take it #farFetched

    3. Troy Day that’s literally its purpose. I had a family member who passed away from cancer. Morphine didn’t help him. Hemp did. He was one of the strongest Christians I have ever known. Dude loved Jesus. I am forever convinced with good reason God created it to be taken responsibly for specific purposes.

    4. Troy Day

That’s because your average workplace drug tests aren’t sophisticated enough to distinguish between different types of canabinoids.

If you’re in a setting in which you’re required to take drug tests, then it’s probably best to avoid CBD for the aforementioned reasons.

    5. Daniel Sidderley but it shows it gets you high to some extend – that much we can agree on

    6. Troy Day CBD does not get you high. Unless it also has THC in it..There are w direct chemical compounds found in the marijuana plant. One causes physoactive results. The other does not. Regardless of a test.

  31. There’s a big difference between using something for medical purposes with a doctor’s consent and advise. And abusing something. We as humans tend to justify our abuse of these things. And I’m speaking mostly from my own experience

    1. I can agree with that but most CBD is purchased without doctor or medical reason Just like herbal oils

    2. Troy Day yea it shows that somebody is uninterested in accepting it as a drug. You’re either consistent or inconsistent. You don’t get to pick and choose your choice of interpretation.

    3. Brandon Fertig tell it to my perisher whose husband got fired because of it during covid19 and is now both jobless and with pain in the back in the midst of pandemical economy Tell them how your argument is great

    4. You cant compare coffee and weed. Weed alters your personality, perception and mind. While caffeine is a mild stimulant yes it is on a whole other level.
Same as sugar, or any number of things.
Beer, or any alcohol. The command is be of sober mind. In general weed inebreats. But has its uses.

    5. Carl Bedford that depends on dosage Carl. If I drink 10 cups of coffee, trust me, I’m going to have some coke-like effects. And if I have a single “hit” of marijuana, I’m going to simply be less anxious. Both are drugs, both alter your mind, period. That’s not debatable. I thought the argument was whether it was forbidden by scripture.

    6. Brandon Fertig so back to my point. If used appropriately and not abused.
If its altering your mind and having you think or react differently. Like booze, not forbidden, but drunkenness is.
Im a former chronic, used to puff morning to night. I was the equivalent of a drunkard. I was functional and highly so, but thats beside the point. I was perpetually altered.
A toke for nausea or sleep is one thing..

    7. Carl Bedford I agree with you, except cbd isn’t the same as weed. Similar, yes. Typically, weed is very high in thc and generally low in CBD. Thc is psychoactive while CBD is the medicinal compound and is non psychoactive.

  32. For all those who think it is a sin or that a Christian shouldn’t use it, be consistent and say that no Christian should take any medicine at all whatsoever.

    1. any medicine that get you positive on a drug test and get you fired would be the PROPER analogy – the way you presented is simply ad hominem fallacy logic

    2. Troy Day your time would much better be spent on the issue of the opioid epidemic within Christianity and society at large. Not attacking a literally harmless medication that has no side effects, is not addictive, and is an excellent substitute for dangerous narcotics.

  33. Hayden Ariaz could you point us to a respected medical study that confirmed CBD as safe medicine Thank you!

    1. Troy DayThis literature survey aims to extend the comprehensive survey performed by Bergamaschi et al. in 2011 on cannabidiol (CBD) safety and side effects. Apart from updating the literature, this article focuses on clinical studies and CBD potential interactions with other drugs.
Results: In general, the often described favorable safety profile of CBD in humans was confirmed and extended by the reviewed research. The majority of studies were performed for treatment of epilepsy and psychotic disorders. Here, the most commonly reported side effects were tiredness, diarrhea, and changes of appetite/weight. In comparison with other drugs, used for the treatment of these medical conditions, CBD has a better side effect profile. This could improve patients’ compliance and adherence to treatment
      https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5569602/

    2. Damien Lacks first sentence from your link – However, further research is needed to determine CBD’s other benefits and safety. Currently, the only CBD product approved by the Food and Drug Administration is a prescription oil called Epidiolex.

    3. Troy Day Actually this was the first sentence:
A prescription cannabidiol (CBD) oil is considered an effective anti-seizure medication.

It would appear here that you are showing evidence to be a liar. As I’m sure you can read and can count and you know that wasn’t the first sentence.

    4. Troy Day I might also add, that article was from 2 years ago. Please dont disregard all the other articles. You asked for respected medical studies that confirmed CBD as safe medication. I literally typed that exact sentence into google and pulled those articles from it.

    5. Troy Day Your veering off into no mans land trying to make a point. All of the articles you are suggesting so that further studies are needed. That statement can be found in all medical studies because further studies are always being done. On everything. You went from it shows up on a drug test, to it alters your spirit to not enough research is done. I dont even know what your point is honestly. Because you are all over the place

    1. Algita Bložytė CBD stands for cannabidiol. It is the second most prevalent of the active ingredients of cannabis (marijuana). While CBD is an essential component of medical marijuana, it is derived directly from the hemp plant, which is a cousin of the marijuana plant. While CBD is a component of marijuana (one of hundreds), by itself it does not cause a “high.” According to a report from the World Health Organization, “In humans, CBD exhibits no effects indicative of any abuse or dependence potential…. To date, there is no evidence of public health related problems associated with the use of pure CBD

  34. I read the article. But it lacks sources and credibility to boot. The article does nothing to distinguish between the chemical compounds and physoactive difference between CBD and THC. All the article does is talk about the word pharmakia in the Greek. I’m not arguing against what the scripture says. I’m not even arguing against the paganism and demonology associated with certain drugs. And for certain drugs do open up the spirit world. I know because I smoked wees for years. And now I wont have anything to do with it because it alters your mind. CBD does not. Just like tylenol does not. And by the way, the Pharmacy logo itself is rooted in paganism and witchcraft. But if you have cancer, or a stomach ache, or toothache, you still for to the doctor. And you still take medications.

  35. pls tell us more Damien Lacks

    Addiction (note the .gov source)
There is no approved pharmacological therapy for the treatment of disorders related to the use of cannabis today

However, new questions appeared regarding the properties of CBD and its synthetic analogs that are currently under investigation, such as the safety and precise dose ranges for each disorder. Therefore, more controlled clinical trials with different and larger neuropsychiatric populations should bring important answers in the near future and support the translation of research findings to clinical settings.

    https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6161644/

    1. Troy Day Same source.

      Conclusion.
In conclusion, CBD SAFETY PROFILE IS ALREADY ESTABLISHED IN A PLETHORA OF WAYS. However, some knowledge gaps detailed above should be closed by ADDITIONAL CLINICAL TRIALS to have a COMPLETELY WELL-RESTED PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOUND.

  36. If it is a drug prescribed by a dr for medical purpose yeah. When I was having a heart attack they have me heroin …. !!! And trust me I wasn’t going to say no!

  37. CBD against Federal Law, so we are law breaking even if state law approves.
It is an addictive depressant, like too much Wine. Like alcohol, Paul warns against controlled by alcohol, but instead be filled with the Holy Spirit who will never lead a Christian toward drug use unless under advice with medical doctor.

    1. Troy Day This logic is extremely flawed and will take a long reply to unpack. Short form is that while some areas can be considered grey areas, this one should not be. It is not addictive, it is not harmful for the body, there are positive health benefits with no side effects, and it’s ridiculous to think otherwise. If you somehow make the illogical leap that it is in the same category as alcohol you would have to cede that it could still be used in moderation, as alcohol use is seen all throughout scripture and Christ himself partook in drinking wine. These arguments you both presented are highly flawed and cannot be backed up with facts.

    2. hey Hayden Ariaz I once knew a guy on CBD who was gonna unpack some false logic but he got high
      he got high
      he got high 🙂

    3. Troy Day Good one, I’ll admit? oddly enough I’ve never been high a day in my life. Even in my years away from God I never so much as tried marijuana. Honestly though look at my claims and really try to refute what I said?

    4. Troy Day You literally cannot get high off of CBD so it makes it even funnier though man? I hope you aren’t taking anything I’m saying personally. I’ve done a lot of research on CBD and it’s pros and cons. I’ve eaten some really good chocolate chip cookies that got me higher than CBD ever could. And that was just because they tasted really good ?

    5. Hayden Ariaz The question posted, Should Christians take CBD? Fact: it is against the law. Why would Christians encourage others to take a depressant that is agaisnt the law? You think it funny and hilarious because know one wants to kiss up to you to say yes. You are the object of laughter here of your own making pushing a drug on a Christian social site. Now that is comical!!

    6. Cl Ing have you had a root canal and have been given laughing gas? Have you ever at any time been prescribed an opioid for pain or recovery from surgery? Do you know anyone who has been prescribed an anti anxiety medication or anti depressant? If any of those are yes EVERY one of those is more dangerous than CBD (which is not dangerous in the least). Zero side effects, you do not get high, no altered state of mind, nothing, zip, nada. It is not against the law. Your reply is completely flawed and illogical and no doubt spoken out of ignorance to the facts. I doubt you have the first idea as to anything pertaining to CBD or hemp. You are going to fall into the hypocrite category if you ever think about taking DayQuil or NyQuil again too so it’s probably best that you don’t catch the flu or something.

    7. Cl Ing Your logic is contradictory. But for the sake of your initial statement regarding “under advice with medical doctor”. I was prescribed a marijuana card which is federally regulated from a medical doctor. And I choose not to any longer be under the influence of THC derived Cannabis in observance and obedience of the Lord. But I do have Medical Marijuana card. And Marijuana has been legalized as medical. Good day. And it is not an addictive depressant. But you know what is…. opiates. Alcohol. Oxycotin. Percocets. Methadone. CBD falls into none of the same categories in any research study. Please do some research

    8. Cl Ing used to may be an overstatement I have never touched no drugs and am quite adamant about it

    9. Cl Ing I wouldnt even know how to ask about that IMO some church folk just like to get high I almost lost Robert Cox from FB this AM but now that he is back he can confirm that

  38. CBD oil is proven medically to work extremely well in many different instances. Medical grade CBD oil has the properties that make you high removed. So saying it’s a depressive addictive drug is totally wrong. Morphine is also illegal to use recreationally, but medically is invaluable for people in severe pain.

    1. Mark Frost It is also legal to beat wife’s and kill Christian’s in other countries. So legal does not always = prudent or Godly.

    2. Correct but that was for the chap above who said it was illegal in his. I see no problem, it beats cancer and unlike dagga doesn’t make you goofed its purely a God given medicine.

  39. The thing I suggest to keep in mind is this 1) does it harm the body? The Bible says that our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit so we should honor God with our bodies by keeping it healthy.

    2) We should be sober minded as it says in 1 Peter 5: 8.

Basically, as long as it doesn’t harm the body and it doesn’t make you intoxicated then it should be alright.

But a question to the author of the article, if I take an aspirin for a headache am I participating in witchcraft? Since aspirin is a pharmaceutical. And I take a “black label ” prescription drug for my psoriatic arthritis which can have negative side effects, is that witchcraft too?

  40. CBD is new and untested as vape chems .
We do not know much about it. 50 years later, men grew beasts and suffered brain damage from pot smoke. What verified side affects? Is it just making a buck off Christian’s for profit, or it is for actually helping people by verified methods?
When my primary care MD, approves, then let’s discuss. Until then, it is just fun shock talk.

    1. Cl Ing Then dont discuss. Because guess what….my primary care MD does approve it. That’s how it was prescribed to me. And that’s how I have a medical marijuana card. So you dont have to discuss. And you probably shouldn’t since you dont have any facts straight. Respectfully

    2. Damien Lacks Question: Did you specifically ask your Doctor MD, for CBD, or did your Doctor suggest CBD without you mentioning it?

      From FDA.GOV
What should you remember about using cannabis or cannabis-derived products?

If you are considering using cannabis, or any products containing THC or CBD, you should be aware of the following:

FDA strongly advises that during pregnancy and while breastfeeding, you avoid using CBD, THC, or marijuana in any form.

Although many of these products are being sold, FDA has not approved these products, other than one prescription CBD drug product and two prescription drug products containing dronabinol, a synthetic version of THC (which are approved to treat certain side effects of HIV-AIDS or chemotherapy). All three of these prescription products have associated risks and side effects.

Always talk with your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist before taking any medicines, vitamins, or herbs while pregnant or breastfeeding.

    1. Robert Cox oh you want some tonight 🙂 I can post it too but cant tend to it all night Them talkers are wearing my out I tell ya 🙂 Neil Steven Lawrence went to sleep Will pick em up in the morrow once again here

    2. Damien Lacks tell it to my parishioner’s husband who got fired over a drug test Neil Steven Lawrence

    3. Troy Day I assumed this was either a self conviction on your behalf, or something that hit close to Home. I apologize for assuming something against you. But just because your parishioners husband got fired for trace amount of THC showing up in a drug test, it DOES NOT mean he was high. No matter how much it hurts you. I too have a friend that lost a bus driving job because of trace amount of THC in her system due to CBF oils. But that does not mean she got high. What that does mean is the old drug analysis test are outdated and inefficient. It doesn’t alter your brain into a physoactive state. So therefore a person remains sober.
For anybody that cares, CBD is not the only LEGAL FOOD SUBSTANCE that will make you fail a drug test. Here are several more
      https://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcthree/article/bf2caf17-55e1-4708-87b6-e9cd3bf4321d

    1. Stewart MacLeod Indeed. That is more than likely the reason for the OP. Self conviction. Which is more than likely also the reason for the baseless and void of fact statements and claims.

    2. Damien Lacks Not necessarily. I ask questions like this all the time and out of sincere and genuine curiosity. ANOTHER person making assumptions. ” That is more than likely the reason for the OP. Self conviction.” Wow, I LOVE this forum.

    3. William Clark I wasnt talkinh about you. I wasnt talking about the person that made the original post. And if you care to search through all the comments between him and myself you will see that his claims and accusations are baseless and without merit. And if you go to his actual page you will see the same post, with the caption “the post that will get you kicked out of most Christian apologetic forums”..

So sure. I am assuming. But not without merit. And it wasnt directed at you. I didnt have a back and forth with you. I had a baseless back and forth with the OP writer. So I made my assumption off of that. Yes. Not you. Good day

    4. Stewart MacLeod I wouldn’t day that. From his page he seems to be a devout “pastor and leader” of a small parish in a southern state in what appears to be a cattle ranch of some sort. (Sorry I’m from the city, not that familiar).

So I personally wouldn’t say troll. But misinformed yes. And on a personal agenda. Yes. Because of someone from his parish being fired because of a drug test. Which does not conclude that CBD is illegal, physoactive or dangerous. But those are the baseless claims he is referring to, to try and save face and keep his stance alive. Absolutely no facts. In fact the article he posted doesnt even mention CBD at all except for in the headline. He may have actually even wrote it. (Another assumption I’m making ??‍♂️)

  41. Stewart MacLeod No its NOT fair bet to bet either I dont believe that what you said is a Biblical standard drinking smoking etc I also dont believe drugs like CBD should be used by Christian without doctor orders and that for a limited time lest serious addiction occurs And pls lets not argue CBD is not addictive if you HAVE to use it daily as a must No serious study has yet denied the addictive effect Actually since its treated with addicts we know its one addiction replacing the other So come on with the sweet talk CBD is a drug of its own and you take it you on drugs Neil Steven Lawrence Larry Dale Steele

    1. Troy Day you take coffee you’re on drugs, cbd has no “high” effects. You get more buzz from caffeine, alcohol and nicotine. The Christians that smoke for enjoyment and drink for enjoyment yet deride people for cannabis use are hypocrites

    2. Troy Day “I dont believe that what you said is a biblical standard “…
Wait… so are you acknowledging that you are ok with smoking cigarettes and drinking wine and whiskey?

  42. Dear admins and moderators. Please dont put Troy out of the group , despite that was he intent coming in and making this post. Troy most of us here are adults that do real research and make educated decisions on what we do and use because we love the Lord. This is an apologetic group and we will love you regardless of the accusations you make that are without merit. We can understand you have a personal vendetta. But we are here to help and bring you truth. Those are major characteristics within most of us. That is why we are in this group

    1. hey Damien Lacks when you play reverse psychology in a passive aggressive attempt to correct someone on the internet AT LEAST put the original link to the OP so ppl can read it for themselves instead of forming their opinion for them BUT come on now Since you made effort to investigate me at least admit CBD is addictive and serious medical studies are still lacking For real Christians this should mean a BIG no-no For other so called believers that drink and gamble guess it may be OK – Wouldnt you say such logic beats your lowballing before 7am? Neil Steven Lawrence BTW the post this young feller referred to may have some of your with oil doctor quote in it Such is a solid apologetic argument IMO which reminds me of the farmakia GNT proof I need to post

    2. Damien Lacks CBD is not addictive anymore than eating sweets are addictive. Your statements are without merit and no reputable person who is knowledgeable on the subject would agree with you.

    3. Troy Day Its 830 over here in Pennsylvania friend. And it wasnt passive aggressive. It was a genuine reply. And I’m sorry you didn’t realize it, but that article is the exact same argument that you have linked in the original post. So I didnt think it was necessary to link it again here. But feel free if you like. It doesnt bother me any. And why dont you prove it IS addictive. Because no medical studies have done so.

    4. Hayden Ariaz φαρμακεία is pharmakia and translated withcraft in the new testament.

    5. Troy Day You are simply wrong. It’s okay to be wrong man. It’s honestly very strange that you take such an issue. Be consistent and say that no Christian should ever use any type of medication ever at any point for any reason. If you do not, you are automatically a hypocrite. In fact if CBD is a sin then vitamins might as well be too. You are wrong.

    6. Troy Day CBD is not addictive anymore than eating sweets are addictive. Your statements are without merit and no reputable person who is knowledgeable on the subject would agree with you.

    7. Hayden Ariaz so now completely out of ammo you go ad hominem and attack me personally 🙂 I am wrong about many things BUT the BIBLE is not wrong about pharmakia CBD Now go prove the BIBLE wrong – you still believe the BIBLE right?

    8. Troy Day I did not personally attack you. However it will be hypocritical if you do not believe that a Christian should never take any medication. Do you believe that? Do you take any medication, supplements, etc..? My guess is yes. Have you not seen videos of poor little kids with horrible violent seizures that get no relief with medication but cannabis helps them?? Do you know a cancer patient who instead of being doped up on morphine can take cannabis and function and not feel quite as bad? Do you know a Christian who struggles with depression who is prescribed awful addictive anti depressants but can take CBD, not be addicted, and function better? Do you know a Christian with horrible stomach issues that can take CBD during a flare up and on occasion and it calm their symptoms? I’d guess not. Do you believe Christians can take any form of medication?

    9. Troy Day I’m done with this conversation and turning the notifications off. That man has used no ad hominem against you. And you are not consistent in your speech or statements at all. You are all over the place. Now you are making a straw man argument in regards to the Word. And like we have both pointing out if your going to tie in the Greek word pharmakias then you have to eradicate all pharmaceutical drugs. But this conversation is impossible because you keep jumping from topic to topic and refusing to listen to any reason whatsoever.

    10. Hayden Ariaz no body believes that a Christian should never take any medication Thats a fallacy argument brought in this discussion as strawman logic

    11. Troy Day Then you fall into the hypocrite camp. CBD is more harmless than ibuprofen. I’m with Damien on this one it’s time to stop replying. It’s clear you have no interest in getting to the truth. You are too focused on your strange personal vendetta against CBD and Christians who use it as God intended. This was a waste of energy. God bless.

    12. Hayden Ariaz So the moment I bring the BIBLE in with a solid exegetical explanation on farmakia yall gonna run away Got ya 🙂 10-4

  43. Damien Lacks here is the FULL quote with some from Neil Steven Lawrence that you could post as an actual Christian Apologetic provided the solid Biblical exegesis in it

φαρμακεία is pharmakia and translated withcraft in the new testament.

    1. Troy Day Yes I read them both. The one on your page and the one in the OP. They are the same Troy. And notice their is no mention of CBD in the entire article. ??‍♂️

    2. Damien Lacks sure CBD is NOT in the BIBLE except when ppl quote HERBS being created and such BUT

pharmakia very much is in the Bible and as Neil Steven Lawrence will tell you refers to opium oils prepared by witch doctors in NT times Guess what root were they extracted from 🙂

    3. Troy Day Heroin. That has absolutely nothing to do with CBD oils.

And the fact that CBD oil is not mentioned in the ARTICLE let’s be know that neither you or the person who wrote the article did any research on CBD

    4. Troy Day You asked about opium oils and what root they were derived from. Sorry, I meant the Poppy plant. Which Heroin is also derived from.

Again, that has nothing to do with CBD.

  44. Hayden Ariaz Damien Lacks yall are simply failing your own false arguments by your own circular logic so far And none of yall can produce a respectable medical study to prove any of your claims

and also I am noticing that you have not referred the BIBLE once just yet Which to me in an apologetic discussion as this one shows a lot

    1. Damien Lacks oh come on now you are calling names instead of discussing my exegetical argument from the BIBLE – why the passive aggressiveness in this very vital topic?

  45. I definitely support the use of CBD. Former potheat (before getting saved). I am no long pro pot as the thc alters the state of mind and scripture tells us to be sober minded. I suffer from migraines and degenerative disk disease. I use cbd as a way to manage symptoms.

    1. Troy Day Oh that one is easy. YOU DON’T high on CBD. You are factually incorrect. There is an argument to be had about THC infused oils, although for people with serious ailments that is perfectly fine and acceptable. CBD however does not get you high. No matter how much you take. Again, you aren’t doing any actual research. You are speaking out of ignorance. Let’s hope you don’t need a root canal because obviously you will be convicted if you have to take laughing gas. Or would you?

    2. Troy Day Honestly, your ignorance is to the point of purposeful denial. Would you take mind altering laughing gas for a root canal? Would you take dangerous narcotics in recovery of a surgery?

    3. Hayden Ariaz so now you again resort to personal attacks because you cannot produce any proof of what you are saying Not to mention medical research for your #baloney

    4. Troy Day Not gonna answer my question??? If you cite any source whatsoever that says CBD get someone high, your source is either a parody or joke, or it is just plain wrong. Go ask a medical doctor if it gets someone high. Hop on google and look it up. Everyone with any bit of common sense will tell you IT DOES NOT GET TOU HIGH. Honestly I feel like you are joking about the whole thing at this point because your claims are so outrageous and funny. Google it. I’m not gonna list you every source because the internet can easily do that for you. So as for the questions. Would you take laughing gas? Would you take a doctor prescribed narcotic?

  46. OK Hayden Ariaz you being the self proclaimed CBD experts PLS explain the following

CBD has psychoactive effects too. But whether you call CBD’s effects a high or not, vaping it or using CBD oil makes you feel different. There are noticeable sensations that many users find as pleasant as those provided by THC. Unlike THC products though, using pure (or nearly pure) CBD will not make you fail a drug test—as long as you’re careful to choose the right kinds of CBD products.

specifically – CBD has psychoactive effects too AND as long as you’re careful to choose the right kinds of CBD

Larry Dale Steele I am never amused how many church folk wanna get hogh on CBD before breakfast

    1. Troy Day It has NO psychoactive effects. You are flat wrong. To the point of obviously purposeful denial. Anyways, would you take laughing gas? Would you take a doctor prescribed narcotic?

    2. Troy Day I use cbd and it has NO psychoactive effects at all unless you are talking about altering pain sensations as in cutting down pain. There is NO high at all, I’ve used drugs before so I know the difference. Cbd is a cleaner healthier alternative to opiates like cocodamol, which does get you high and is addictive.

  47. ok and again Hayden Ariaz

Both CBD and THC have an impact on the cannabinoid type 1 receptors (CB1) in your brain, but they kinda have opposite effects. THC binds with those receptors, activating them and causing a feeling of euphoria or high.

But CBD is different: It barely binds with CB1 receptors. In fact, it can actually block any high from happening at all. If you were to take CBD with THC, you might find that you didn’t feel as high as you would if you’d consumed only THC.

EXPLAIN how is that high NOT high? It is NOT the other type of high but is still high Explain this to the group pls

  48. keep on explaining Hayden Ariaz and pls dont waste everyones time with explaining around

There are countless CBD gummies and tinctures that are marketed specifically for anxiety relief, and people anecdotally claim that cannabidiol, a compound found in cannabis and hemp, helps promote relaxation and calmness.

While it’s entirely possible for trace amounts of THC to be left over in CBD products

the World Health Organization (WHO) defines any substance that affects mental processes, such as cognition, as “psychoactive.” By this definition, CBD could be considered psychoactive

  49. It started as a whisper at the fringes of medical science, amplified over the years by a swelling chorus of cannabis activists, patients, and their advocates. Then the media began shouting that it doesn’t get people high. And, before we knew it, CBD popped up in drugstores and suburban kitchen cabinets. Now the cannabinoid is infused into everything from hummus to underarm deodorant.

But some suspect this alleged wonder drug — which offers the plant’s medicinal benefits and none of its stoney side effects — can, indeed, get them a little buzzed. #BOOM Hayden Ariaz

    1. #BOOM An Example: CBD Causes Mild Euphoria

Rudy Sta Ana, the founder of Cannabis Catered Events, works as a fusion weed chef in California. In March, he told MERRY JANE he snorted CBD isolates twice in his life. In both instances, he said, “It felt like a euphoric boost and just made me feel great. It didn’t last very long, though.”

Sta Ana also said he felt similar effects when dabbing CBD isolate, too.

“That’s a real thing,” Dr. Ethan Russo, a neurologist who’s been studying cannabis for over two decades, said to MERRY JANE in a phone interview. “In terms of alertness, the feelings of well-being, lack of anxiety, antidepressant effects — those are all proper, well-established pharmacological effects of CBD.”

    2. What the Science Says About CBD’s ‘High’

Two studies indicated that CBD taken orally could convert to THC in the stomach’s acidic environment. Even Raphael Mechoulam, Ph.D, the “godfather of cannabis science,” owns a patent to turn CBD into THC with strong acids. However, the two studies only observed a small amount of CBD converting to THC, somewhere around 4 percent. WHAT what? Hayden Ariaz

  50. Like Russo, Marcu noted that the current body of scientific literature shows CBD can affect a THC high, and not just for tapering anxiety caused by too much THC. For instance, when taken orally, CBD can slow THC’s progression through the blood and brain, leading to longer-lasting highs.

How does CBD do this? The liver contains several enzymes that break down roughly 60 percent of all drugs known to humanity. CBD can prevent these same enzymes from breaking down delta-9-THC when someone smokes weed. #MhM
