Families Demand Answers, #Netanyahu Rebuffs #Biden, and #Iraq War Legislation to be Repealed #shorts
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has rejected President Joe Biden’s advice to abandon his government’s judicial reform efforts. Biden said he hoped Netanyahu would “walk away” from the legislation.
Families of more than 60 migrants who were killed or injured in a building fire in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico while being detained, want to know why authorities wouldn’t let them out of the building when the room they were in began to fill with smoke. Most of the migrants were from Venezuela and Central America.
And twenty years after the Iraq War, the U.S. Senate is expected to repeal legislation authorizing the president to commit troops to Iraq. Twenty-eight Republicans voted against advancing the repeal law, yet the measure is expected to pass with bi-partisan support.
