“Not one stone on another” (Mark 13:2): but some at the Western wall
As I prayed there, I was reminded of Jesus’s warning about the Temple’s destruction, and felt more of its deeply tragic weight. No earthly institution is permanent. We await the fullness of God’s own kingdom.
