#Wray Subpoenaed, Serious Intelligence #Breach, and #Bragg Sues Jim Jordan #shorts
A Pentagon official says the Defense Department is “working around the clock” to gauge the fallout from what is being called the most serious intelligence breach in a decade. Leaked intelligence on both U.S. enemies and allies has shaken up international relationships as the Justice Department conducts a criminal investigation.
House Judiciary Chair Jim Jordan has subpoenaed FBI Director Christopher Wray, demanding the FBI provide information about a now-withdrawn memo asking Catholic church leaders to monitor their members for connections to white supremacist groups and report them to the government. Wray has condemned the memo.
And Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg has sued House Judiciary Chair Jim Jordan, calling his investigation of former President Trump’s indictment “a campaign to intimidate and attack” the work of his office.
