Dr. Brown’s 61st Birthday Workout Challenge

0

If you’re in good shape, give this a try! It consists of 7 exercises repeated 200 times each, so 1,400 reps total. My time on March 16, 2016 — my 61st birthday — was 23:24. Give it a try — and do it in the order stated on the video, not going to the next exercise until each set of 200 reps is completed. Rest as needed! (Note also that I follow a totally healthy eating lifestyle, which is the biggest key to my fitness.)

To repeat: 1) You have to complete each exercise before moving to the next, even with the leg kicks at the end; finish one leg before going to the other; 2) the biggest thing is cardio and endurance, not form, so the push-ups are very shallow, the jump squats don’t have to be deep, etc.; just be sure to do the exercise and keep moving. And once more: Don’t try this unless you’re in good cardio shape, and if you feel like you need to stop or take a break, don’t push yourself too hard. Have at it, then post your time and your age when you finish. Shortly after my 63rd birthday, I completed this in 21:33.
