Islamic Jihad proclaims shooting attack ‘heroic sacrifice’

Israel National News reports: “Tarek Salmi, spokesman for the Islamic Jihad organization, welcomed the shooting attack carried out at the gas station near the settlement of Eli in Samaria, in which four Israelis were murdered.

In a statement to the media, Salmi said that ‘the act of heroic sacrifice was carried out as part of the exercise of the legitimate right to self-defense, and is considered a natural response to the crimes of the occupation that are escalating against the Palestinian people.’

Salmi emphasized that ‘this action shows the vitality of the resistance organizations and their ability to act in all circumstances and hit the occupation continuously.’…”
