Israel prepares for possible rocket fire from Gaza in response to Jenin operation

Israel National News reports: “The defense establishment is preparing for the possibility of rocket fire from the Gaza Strip in retaliation to the extensive counterterror operation in Jenin.

Kan News reported that Israel sent Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) in Gaza a clear message according to which any attack would be answered with a heavy hand.

The message that was sent was: ‘Don’t intervene because you are not the target. If you shoot, we will respond harshly. An attack would be a mistake, and we will respond with all our might,’ a diplomatic source stated…”
