Many times when people get together, a conversation gets started where each tries to outdo the other. When the topic is hunting, fishing, camping, shopping, traveling, or the like, everyone tries to get their “bragging rights” in. Sadly, in today’s world, there are many who try to show who believes the least in the Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ. (ESV – all emphasis mine)

Our Heavenly Father, His Son, and the Holy Spirit are not amused. Looking at Matthew 10:32-33, “So everyone who acknowledges Me before men, I will also acknowledge before My Father who is in Heaven; but whoever denies Me before men, I will also deny before My Father who is in Heaven.”

Matthew 7:21-23, “Not everyone who says to Me ‘Lord, Lord’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but the one who does the will of My Father who is in Heaven. On that day, many will say to Me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and cast out demons in Your name, and do mighty works in Your name?’ And then will I declare to them, I never knew you; depart from Me you workers of lawlessness.”

More and more people in this world are turning away from anything to do with Jesus, just as our Savior knew they would. It will be more evident as we get closer to the end of this age. Once again, from Matthew 7 verses 13-14, “Enter by the narrow gate, for the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow, and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.”

The scene at the Great White Throne will be absolutely terrifying and awful. There will be many there that will cry out that they don’t belong there. However, every soul from the beginning of time on this earth that was out of the will of the Father up to the cross; and all who refused to receive and accept Jesus from Calvary to the end of the Millennial Reign will be shown exactly why they are there, and why they will spend all eternity in hell with Satan and his demons.

The ones that went out of their way to deny the Savior and to persecute His followers will find there is no mercy or forgiveness at that judgment. They could have chosen to repent and accept Jesus before taking their last breath here but did not do so.

A review of Romans 10:9-13 shows, “because if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. For the scripture says, ‘Everyone who believes in Him will not be put to shame.’ For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all (also see John 10:16), bestowing His riches on all who call on Him. For ‘everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.'”

A point that needs to be made once again, in the reference to “confess with your mouth,” what about those who are unable to speak due to a handicap of some sort? God “hears” our every thought as if we speak out loud with our mouths.

In 1 Chronicles 28:9a, “And you, Solomon My Son, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a whole heart and with a willing mind, for the Lord searches all hearts, and understands every plan and thought…”

And then from David, Psalm 139:1-4, “Oh Lord, You have searched me and known me. You know when I sit down, and when I rise up; You discern my thoughts from afar. You search out my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways. Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, Oh Lord, you know it altogether.”

The present age on this earth is exactly as our Savior said it would be, and our Hope lies in His words of Luke 21:28, “Now when these things begin to take place, straighten up and raise your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.” Every evil issue that is taking place today actually began in earnest about a decade ago. The acts have always been here, including the worship of Satan, but not out in the open and to the degree that they are today.

In fact, there has been a total turnaround in this evil world that brings Isaiah 5:20-21 out in the open. “Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter. Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and shrewd in their own sight.”

For all who have put their faith, trust, and hope in Our Savior, we are just waiting for “The Glory to Come.” Right here is a good place to present a song once again by Dale and Cheryl Golden with that title. This wonderful couple has been providing inspirational gospel music for a significant time. Their albums can be found at www.dale&cherylgolden.com, and their songs on YouTube. Please consider the words of this marvelous hymn written by Dale Golden.

1.) It’s so good to be called one of God’s very own. And it’s so good just to know that He’s still on the Throne. How my heart does rejoice in a Heavenly way, as my faith looks ahead to a much brighter day.

Ref.) Where no eye can behold, and not one ear has heard, and no mind can conceive that prepared by my Lord. But His Spirit revealed, the best is yet to be done, when we’re changed to be just as He is in the Glory To Come.

2.) I can’t wait for that day when the Lord calls me Home, to be present with Him is what I’m counting on. All my words can’t express what I anticipate, of the riches untold that in Heaven awaits. (Refx2)

When we’re changed to be just as He is in the Glory to Come, The Glory to Come.

With each passing day, we are getting closer to the 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17 and 1 Corinthians 15:51-53 event known as the Rapture, Harpazo, or the Taking Up of all believers to meet our Jesus the Christ in the air. When that takes place, those left behind will experience a world that will be more terrible than ever before. Anyone who will receive and accept Jesus during that seven-year period of time will most likely be martyred.

For now, the time is absolutely right to get your reservation for the Rapture. Go back to Romans 10:9-13 for the simple steps. No one is exempt from sin in these human bodies. Romans 3:10, Romans 3:23, and Romans 6:23 cover this very well.

Also, very specific is that Jesus is the only way to eternal life in Heaven. See John 14:6 and Acts 4:12. There is no earthly price or any works that anyone can do to earn their Salvation. Ephesians 2:8-9 is very clear on this point.

Today would not be too early to receive and accept the free gift that has been provided for everyone by our Holy Shepherd. He would love to add all who will call on Him to His Heavenly flock. He will force no one; it’s a free-will choice that each of us must make for ourselves.

Once Jesus is in your heart, you’ll be able to say, “Have you heard the one about the Son of God shedding His blood for us all?”

Come, Lord Jesus!
