Saudi Recognition of Israel, Hawaiian Wildfires, and Targeted Activist Running for Congress #shorts
President Biden ordered “all available Federal assets” Wednesday, including the military, to help fight devastating wildfires on the Hawaiian island of Maui and provide relief to people there. At least 36 people have died in the inferno.
The U.S. and Saudi Arabia have reached a preliminary deal that could lead to Saudi recognition of Israel, according to a report in The Wall Street Journal. The agreement involves U.S. help for a Saudi civilian nuclear program, with assurances that the Saudis would keep their distance from China in both military and economic spheres. The deal would also involve Israeli concessions to the Palestinians, which leaves parties in Israel conflicted.
And pro-life activist Mark Houck, the father of seven children who was arrested by armed FBI agents who raided his home, is now running for Congress in Pennsylvania’s 1st congressional district.
