Tropical Storm Lee Forming, Ken Paxton Impeachment, and Trump and the 14th Amendment #shorts
Tropical Storm Lee, currently forming in the mid-Atlantic, has the potential to become a deadly hurricane, according to weather experts. Its current path would send it toward the Lesser Antilles Islands and Puerto Rico, and it may be a Category 4 hurricane by the weekend.
The historic impeachment trial of Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is underway in Austin. The GOP-controlled Texas Senate rejected his attorneys’ motions to dismiss all 16 counts against him as Paxton was accused of allowing a “slow creep of corruption.”
And a growing number of voices on the left and right believe the 14th Amendment could be used to remove Trump from the 2024 ballot due to his role in the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol building. Critics argue Trump can’t be removed without being convicted.
