Morocco Earthquake Death Toll Over 2,500, Hurricane Lee Strengthens, and Remembering 9/11 #shorts
The death toll from Friday’s devastating earthquake in Morocco is at 2,100 and rising. People slept in the streets for the third straight night as soldiers and aid teams mobilized to help stunned victims amid the collapsed rubble.
Hurricane Lee is expected to strengthen again as it moves over warm open waters in the mid-Atlantic ocean. Forecasters say New England and Canada are the areas most likely to feel the effects of the dangerous storm.
And Americans will mark the 22nd anniversary of 9/11 today with memorial ceremonies and remembrances all across the country.
