Biden Impeachment Inquiry, Putin and Kim Jong Un Meet, and Deadly Floods in Libya #shorts
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy commissioned a formal impeachment inquiry Tuesday into President Joe Biden’s activities with his son Hunter’s business dealings while he was vice president. McCarthy called the allegations “abuse of power, obstruction and corruption.” The White House called the charges “extreme politics at its worst.”
Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un met in Siberia Tuesday and toured Russia’s space center. When asked if the two talked about military supplies for Russia’s war effort in Ukraine, Putin said “all issues” were being discussed.
And more than 5,300 people are dead following catastrophic floods in Libya, and thousands more are missing in what is being called the deadliest environmental disaster in the country’s history.
