Israel Capture Hamas Stronghold, Antisemitism at Cornell, and Refugee Camp Hit in Gaza #shorts
Israel’s military captured a key Hamas stronghold in central Gaza during heavy fighting Tuesday. The IDF reports that it killed several Hamas leaders. Israel’s government also announced that 12 Israeli soldiers have died in the offensive.
A Cornell University student who posted threats encouraging attacks on Cornell’s Jewish student population is expected in court today. Anti-Semitic incidents have increased substantially across the country since Hamas’ attack on Israel.
And on Tuesday Israel said it hit a Hamas command and tunnel network that cause substantial damage to a crowded Palestinian refugee camp. Hundreds of people were reportedly killed or injured in the strike. This as foreign nationals were allowed to leave Gaza for the first time since the war in Israel broke out.
