Hostage Deal Approved, Altman Returns to OpenAI, and Son of Hamas Co-Founder Condemns UN #shorts
Earlier this morning Israel approved a hostage deal with Hamas set to begin Thursday. Hamas is expected to release 50-100 hostages and in return Israel will allow 300 trucks into Gaza and committed to free 150 Palestinian prisoners. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pledged that the war will not end with the pause in fighting.
Just days after his ouster as the CEO of OpenAI, Sam Altman has agreed to return to lead the company after an employee revolt threated to run the company into the ground. Seven hundred and forty seven of the companies 770 employees threated to quit if the board of directors didn’t resign.
And the son of a Hamas co-founder strongly denounced the group at the United Nations in a speech Monday. He said Hamas’s religious indoctrination of kids and genocidal hatred of Israel is “committing a crime against this generation and the generations to come.”
