Israel is considering an extension of a ceasefire with Hamas to facilitate the release of more hostages. 40 Israeli hostages have been released so far with over 100 Palestinian prisoners released from Israeli jails.

Houthi-controlled rebels in Yemen later fired two ballistic missiles that landed near a U.S. warship in the Gulf of Aden, raising the stakes amid a series of ship attacks linked to the Israel-Hamas war.
And billionaire Elon Musk has arrived in Israel and will meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Isaac Herzog amid growing accusations of antisemitism on Musk owned ‘X’.
