Israeli Gains in Southern Gaza, No Agreement on Ukraine Aid, and Final GOP Debate #shorts
Israel’s military said it made gains in southern Gaza, surrounding the home of the top Hamas leader in the Gaza Strip, and uncovering a large weapons cache. This comes as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is urging the Red Cross to demand visits for the more than 130 hostages remaining in captivity.
Congressional lawmakers remain unable to reach an agreement on a foreign aid bill for both Israel and Ukraine. Senate Republicans blocked a key procedural vote Wednesday, insisting additional support for Ukraine must be tied to U.S. border security.
And the final GOP debate took place last night between candidates Christie, Haley, DeSantis, and Ramaswamy. Frontrunner Donald Trump was notably absent again, yet still maintains a double-digit lead over his rivals.
