Israel Loses 10 Soldiers in Ambush, House Impeachment Inquiry, and Southern Border Policy #shorts
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pledged Wednesday that “nothing will stop us,” after the painful loss Tuesday of 10 Israeli soldiers in a Hamas ambush. Earlier in the week, President Joe Biden had called for changes in the Israeli government due to concerns that world opinion was turning against Israel.
In Washington, the House of Representatives voted Wednesday to begin a formal impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden’s involvement with his son Hunter’s business dealings. The vote was along party lines, with all Republicans and no Democrats voting for the inquiry.
And the Biden administration may capitulate to Senate Republican demands to bolster U.S.-Mexico border policies to secure additional funding for Ukraine. The White House is racing to reach a deal before Congress departs Washington this week.
