I am not a fan of ‘New Year’s Resolutions’ but why don’t you resolve to be a better witness for the Lord in 2024 than you were this year? Gospel tracts are the answer!
One of the easiest ways in the world to witness Jesus Christ to lost people around you is to hand them a gospel tract. You can get some that fit in your pocket or purse, and in the time it takes to say hello to a stranger, you can put a gospel tract in their hand. Gospel tracts are a great tool to warn the lost, and to wake up the slumbering and lukewarm Laodicean.

Just for fun yesterday, I grabbed a 25-count pack of our ‘The Greatest Story Ever Told’ tracts, determined to see how long it would take to deliver all of them without going outside of my regular travels. I was able to hand out 18 of them yesterday, and the remaining 7 this afternoon. One of them I put on the gas station pump in the photo for this article, but all the rest were put into some person’s hand.
Someone once asked me why I preach on the streets, and the answer was surprisingly simple. I said ‘because Hell is real, and people go there’. There is no other reason to witness Jesus Christ if not to pluck some soul from the burning. Gospel tracts make it incredibly easy, and I dare say, fun. At the NTEB Bookstore, we have a wonderful section called ‘Street Preacher’ where you can get everything you need to witness right where you live, including an excellent pamphlet on how to win souls from CPR Missions.
I am not a fan of ‘New Year’s Resolutions’ but why don’t you resolve to be a better witness for the Lord in 2024 than you were this year? If I could hand out 25 tracts from one afternoon to the next with almost no effort at all, you can too. It’s a great suggestion from us, but it’s a commandment from God. So do it!
