Egypt and Jordan controlled the West Bank and Gaza Strip for 20 years, and never once moved to create a state of Palestine. But there is a man coming who will.
Let me take you back to a day and time where, what the legacy media refers to as Palestine, was firmly in the hands of Muslim Arab control for over 20 years. The Gaza Strip, where Israel is now waging war against terror group Hamas, was controlled by Egypt from 1949 all the way to 1967. The West Bank was ruled over by Jordan from 1948 to 1967. Yet during that period of full Muslim control, neither Egypt or Jordan ever once attempted to create a Palestinian state. Why? Isaiah has the answer.
“Howl, O gate; cry, O city; thou, whole Palestina, art dissolved: for there shall come from the north a smoke, and none shall be alone in his appointed times. What shall one then answer the messengers of the nation? That the LORD hath founded Zion, and the poor of his people shall trust in it.” Isaiah 14:31,32 (KJB)
You will note that Egypt and Jordan controlled all that land right up to 1967, then something happened. It’s called The Six-Day War, and it is the miraculous account of 5 Muslim nations – Egypt, Syria, Iraq, Lebanon and Jordan – who came against Israel and lost it all in just 6 days. Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Nasser said before the start of the war “”Our basic objective will be the destruction of Israel. The Arab people want to fight. We will not accept any coexistence with Israel.” Jordan thought this was a great idea and got onboard.
King Hussein of Jordan signed a defense pact with Egypt on May 30. Nasser then announced: “The armies of Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon are poised on the borders of Israel…to face the challenge, while standing behind us are the armies of Iraq, Algeria, Kuwait, Sudan and the whole Arab nation. This act will astound the world.” It sure did, just not in the way the Muslims intended it to go. By the end of the war, Israel had conquered enough territory to more than triple the size of the area it controlled, from 8,000 to 26,000 square miles. The victory enabled Israel to unify Jerusalem. Israeli forces had also captured the Sinai, Golan Heights, Gaza Strip and West Bank. ‘Winner, winner, chicken dinner’ as the old saying goes.
But the Palestinians weren’t done yet. Shouting a hearty ‘Hold my falafel!’, they welcomed Hamas with open arms. Yikes.
Flash-forward to the year 2006, and the Palestinian people held what would be their last election, and who do they pick? They pick terror group Hamas, and from this point on, the ‘land of Palestine’ will officially become, not a nation, but a terror state dedicated to the destruction of the Jews and Israel. They will receive billions in aid from the United States and various European nations, and they will use that wealth to build a network of underground tunnels nearly larger than that of the New York City subway system. They don’t use it for food, hospitals or schools, they use it to create an army of terrorists to kill Jews. What schools and hospitals that were built housed terror cells and were used as staging grounds to launch missiles. Hamas has no problem using Palestinian children as human shields.
In 2023, what used to be called Gaza is largely rubble, with more rubble added on a daily basis. Hamas and the Palestinians thought it would be a great idea conduct the largest single-day slaughter of Jews since the Holocaust, and on October 7th did exactly that. Now Gaza is gone, and Israel is not even close to thinking about stopping. Nations like Egypt and Jordan accuse Israel of ‘genocide’ in Gaza, but if there is, Israel is not the one doing it. Hamas is the one committing genocide, and it’s against the Palestinians who, like the Germans before them in 1933, believed the promises of a deranged madman and his henchmen. It’s working out about the same for the Palestinians as it did the Germans.
Your King James Bible is a an amazing Book, and yes it shows you Gaza and Palestine, named as such, and what their end will be. Please note that the words ‘Palestine’ and ‘Palestina’ have been erased from the corrupt NIV and ESV ‘bibles’, so don’t bother looking it up if you have one. But your fully-loaded 1611 happily shows you Palestine, and what will become of it at the Second Advent. The prophets declare it will cease to be, with its inhabitants driven out from Jerusalem. But between this day and that Day, the Jews and Israel will find themselves in something called the time of Jacob’s trouble and it will plunge them into great tribulation. During this period the Palestinians, under the leadership of The Assyrian, also called Antichrist, will finally create the state of Palestine, but it will be extremely short-lived. 7 years according to the prophet Daniel. Now you know more about the state of Palestine than any Greek or Hebrew scholar in any seminary, and more than any PhD teaching in any university anywhere in the world.
