Hamas Leader Killed in Beirut, Harvard President Resigns, and Explosions Kill 103 in Iran #shorts
Hamas announced that a drone strike in Lebanon’s Beirut suburbs Tuesday killed one of its top officials, a founder of the group’s military wing. Israel did not comment on the assassination but was blamed for the attack by both Hamas and Hezbollah.
Harvard President Claudine Gay resigned from her position yesterday, just weeks after a disastrous congressional hearing where she failed to condemn antisemitism on the prestigious institution’s campus. Gay also faced increasing allegations of plagiarism which fueled calls for her resignation.
And Iran says at least 103 people were killed and nearly 150 wounded after explosions rocked a ceremony honoring Qasem Soleimani, a General who was killed in a U.S. drone strike back in 2020. No group has yet to take responsibility for the explosions.
