Israel Hezbollah Tensions Rise, Blinken at Davos, and Pakistan Recalls Ambassador to Iran #shorts
As Hezbollah continues to fire rockets into northern Israel, the leader of Israel’s Northern Command said IDF forces are conducting training exercises for an invasion of Lebanon. A former IDF spokesman says time is running out for a diplomatic solution in the north.
Secretary of State Antony Blinken again called for a Palestinian state at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. He said that Israel would not “get genuine security absent that.”
And Pakistan has recalled its ambassador to Iran after an Iranian airstrike killed two people within Pakistan’s borders. Pakistani officials called the attack “a blatant violation of its airspace.”
