A New York-bound Virgin Atlantic flight was canceled just moments before takeoff last week when an alarmed passenger said he spotted several screws missing from the plane’s wing. This is what DEI gets you.

Flying is nerve-wracking enough without having to think about the screws holding parts of the wings together being loose or missing, especially when it’s noticed by the customers before the maintenance crew spots it. Yikes. But take heart, Virgin Atlantic passengers, they want you to know that their DEI program is strong and their fervent support of drag queens and transgenders remains steadfast.

“And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.” Romans 1:27 (KJB)

What is DEI? Glad you asked, it stands for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. What does that mean? That they hire people based on the gender and sexual orientation as the primary trait, talent to actually do the job they’re hired for comes after that. Let’s say you are a hospital that needs to hire a surgeon. The main consideration should be how talented he or she is at performing surgery, but not so with DEI. DEI says ‘we need more black and brown doctors’, and set out to find a ‘doctor of color’ as the main recruiting criteria. Certainly you can see how flawed of an approach this is at the least, and how incredibly dangerous it could be. Passengers on that Virgin Atlantic flight were glad they averted disaster this time, but for how long? We need the most talented people in our workforce, not checkboxes for DEI requirements.

Virgin Atlantic needs more attention to safety, and less on DEI, drag queens and transgenders

FROM THE NYPOST: British traveler Phil Hardy, 41, was onboard Flight VS127 at Manchester Airport in the UK on Jan. 15 when he noticed the four missing fasteners during a safety briefing for passengers and decided to alert the cabin crew.

“I’m a good flyer, but my partner was not loving the information I was telling her and starting to panic, and I was trying to put her mind at rest as much as I could,” Hardy told the Kennedy News agency of the moment he spotted the missing fixings.

“I thought it was best to mention it to a flight attendant to be on the safe side.”

Engineers were promptly called out to carry out maintenance checks on the Airbus A330 aircraft before its scheduled takeoff to John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City, a Virgin Atlantic rep said.

Footage shot by Hardy showed one of the engineers climbing onto the plane’s wing before using a screwdriver to tinker with some of the fasteners.

Hardy said airline staff repeatedly reassured him there was no safety issue with the wing, but his fear was heightened given the recent ordeal in which an Alaska Airlines plane lost its door plug and a chunk of its fuselage flew off mid-flight.

Both Virgin and Airbus stressed there was no impact to the safety of last week’s aircraft despite the missing fixings. READ MORE

When you contribute to this fundraising effort, you are helping us to do what the Lord called us to do. The money you send in goes primarily to the overall daily operations of this site. When people ask for Bibles, we send them out at no charge. When people write in and say how much they would like gospel tracts but cannot afford them, we send them a box at no cost to them for either the tracts or the shipping, no matter where they are in the world. We have a Gospel Billboard program. We are now broadcasting Bible studies, Podcasts and a Sunday Service 5 times a week, thanks to your generous donations. All this is possible because YOU pray for us, YOU support us, and YOU give so we can continue growing.

But whatever you do, don’t do nothing. Time is short and we need your help right now. The Lord has given us an open door with a tremendous ‘course’ for us to fulfill that will create an excellent experience at the Judgement Seat of Christ. Please pray for our efforts, and if the Lord leads you to donate, be as generous as possible. The war is REAL, the battle HOT and the time is SHORTTO THE FIGHT!!!
