Anchorage sees fastest climb to 100″ of snow on record
Anchorage hit a rare milestone Monday morning with the overnight snow dump and set a new record for reaching it. With the 13.7 inches of snow that Anchorage has seen since Sunday, the seasonal snowfall total for the city has now officially climbed above 100 inches. Sitting at 101.4″ of snowfall for the season as of Monday morning, this year has brought many rare occurrences:
