State of the Union, Nearly 300 Kidnapped in Nigeria, and Tebow Testifies #shorts
In Thursday’s State of the Union speech, President Joe Biden made an emotional appeal for his immigration policies and warned Supreme Court justices about their decision to reverse Roe vs. Wade. The GOP responded by saying that on his watch, “the American dream has turned into a nightmare” for many.
Nearly 300 students were kidnapped Thursday from a school in northwest Nigeria. It’s the country’s second mass abduction in less than a week.
And former NFL and NCAA star Tim Tebow was on Capitol Hill Wednesday urging lawmakers to do more to fight child sex trafficking. Tebow made his appeal before members of a House Judiciary Subcommittee, sharing that there are “thousands of boys and girls starving for hope in our backyard.”
