The right kind of humanism: Gen 1:26-27
Renaissance humanists were not secular humanists. The best of humanist ideals flow from biblical faith, ideals that atheism cannot sustain in the long-term. They reflect instead a God who created humans in the divine image (Gen 1:26-27), for us to flourish as God’s own children (see Gen 5:1-3)
