This story you are reading now just came across my desk a few moments ago, it is an astounding story of a life spent in misery, crime, drugs, alcohol and satanism that nearly killed David Korrok, landing him broken and helpless, and sitting behind bars. I will not attempt to condense that story for this article here, but will save the telling of it for an upcoming NTEB Sit Down Interview podcast to be aired sometime in the next few weeks. David Korrok is the son of NTEB’er Veronica Higginbotham, and when he found himself in jail and in some very serious trouble, she knew exactly what she needed to do. On the inside behind the bars, the Lord has already begun to deal with David about his soul and his eternal destiny. On the outside, David’s mom was ordering him a King James Ruckman Reference Bible from the NTEB Free Bible Program, and had it sent immediately. She needed help for her son fast, and NTEB supplied that help. It was truly an heavenly arrangement of events, and after a brief struggle, David Korrok accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Saviour, diving in deeply to the pages of his brand-new King James Bible that was now put into his hands. That’s David in the main photo, surrounded by images of his broken past, now sitting saved and satisfied with his Ruckman Reference Bible his mom asked us to send. Today, David works to bring the gospel message of new life in Jesus Christ to others who are trapped where he was, and NTEB will assist his efforts by sending Bibles wherever they are needed. What a blessing!
