Confrontation Over Rafah, Court Blocks Texas Border Law, and North Korea Missile Test #shorts
Confrontation between the White House and Israel’s government over the last remaining Hamas stronghold continues, as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stressed Tuesday that Israel sees “no way” to destroy Hamas militarily without entering Rafah. U.S. officials repeated their concerns about the fate of Gaza civilians.
After only taking effect for a few hours, a law giving Texas officials the authority to arrest migrants suspected of entering the U.S. illegally was blocked by a federal appeals court. It’s unclear how quickly the next decision about the law will come.
And North Korea says it has successfully tested a new hypersonic missile designed to strike U.S. targets in the region. On Monday, the U.S., Japan, and South Korea all reported test missile launches by North Korea.
