PLAYING GOD – The Puppet Master behind ‘Prince Caspian’ on Stage

Efrem goes backstage at the Museum of the Bible to talk with the cast and creators of the play based on C. S. Lewis’ “Prince Caspian” story in The Chronicles of Narnia. Justin Swain is the puppet master behind the various creatures in this fantasy including Aslan the lion who represents Jesus. This puppet takes the work of 4 people to bring it to life. Justin Swain is one of those people, and leads the charge, sharing the importance of “playing Jesus” in the story and the impact it has made on both the audience and on himself. He talks about his own personal testimony of drugs and trouble that ended up getting him kicked out of school, and then finding his way back into church and now as part of the company that presents these faith-based plays. Justin’s prayer for this project is to make a life-changing impact on the people who see it through the gospel. The play is currently playing at the Museum of the Bible in Washington DC.
