Netanyahu’s Message to World Leaders, Senate Rejects Impeachment, and NBA Bans Player #shorts
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that Israel “will make our own decisions” regarding how the Jewish state will respond to Iran’s recent attack. Many world leaders have asked Israel to restrain itself in its reprisals against Iran.
The U.S. Senate rejected impeachment articles against Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, ending the push to remove the Cabinet secretary from office. Republicans criticized Senate Democrats for refusing to remove Mayorkas.
And in a rare move, the NBA banned Toronto Raptors player Jontay Porter for life after it was discovered that he disclosed confidential information to a sports bettor and wagered on games, even betting on his own team to lose. It is only the second time the NBA has banned an individual for life.
