Israel Strike Back at Iran, Trump Jury Selection Continues, and India Elections Begin #shorts
Israel reportedly launched an air strike today, targeted at a military base near the Iranian city of Isfahan. The site is located near Iran’s “Nuclear Energy Mountain,” where it is believed enrichment for nuclear weapons is being conducted. The strike may have been Israel’s expected retaliation for Iran’s attack last weekend.
Jury selection in the trial of former President Donald Trump is set to resume Friday following a fast and energetic day Thursday that eventually saw all 12 jurors and one alternate sworn in. Lawyers are now focused on picking five alternates.
And India is set to begin one of the nation’s most consequential elections today that could give Prime Minister Narendra Modi a third straight election victory. Elections will take place over six weeks and could see nearly 970 million people participate.
