IDF Awaits Move into Rafah, Blinken Meets with Xi, and the NFL Draft Kicks Off #shorts
Israeli forces are awaiting the order to move into Rafah to battle the remaining Hamas battalions. While the Biden administration opposes the military action, the IDF’s chief spokesman says Israel is also setting up thousands of tents to help Gazans evacuating the area.
U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken has met with Chinese President Xi Jinping and senior Chinese officials in Beijing. Blinken said the U.S. and China are seeking to deepen cooperation where interests align, but the U.S. is “clear-eyed” about their competing visions for the future.
And the NFL draft kicked off last night with the Chicago Bears taking Heisman trophy winner Caleb Williams first overall. A record tying six quarterbacks were taken in the draft’s first round.
