Hamas Plans to Reject Deal, DEA to Reclassify Marijuana, and Police Dismantle UCLA Protest #shorts
Despite strong urging from Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Arab sources report Hamas plans to reject a ceasefire deal offered by the U.S. and Israel. Hamas hasn’t officially confirmed plans to reject the deal, but Israeli forces are gathering at the Gaza border near Rafah.
The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration will move to reclassify marijuana as a less dangerous drug, a historic shift to generations of American drug policy that could have wide ripple effects across the country. Opponents call the move “a political act.”
And Police have removed barricades and begun dismantling a pro-Palestinian demonstrators’ encampment at the University of California, Los Angeles. Thursday morning’s law enforcement action comes after officers spent hours threatening arrests over loudspeakers if people did not disperse.
