Netanyahu Pledges Victory, Police Dismantle Encampment, and South Struck by More Storms #shorts
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pledged that Israel would go into Rafah even if it must act alone. The statement comes after President Joe Biden announced that the U.S. will withhold offensive weapons from Israel should an assault begin. An IDF spokesman insisted Israel has the ammunition it needs to fight in Rafah.
Police dismantled a pro-Palestinian tent encampment at MIT early Friday and moved to clear protesters from the University of Pennsylvania’s campus in Philadelphia, hours after police tear-gassed protesters and took down an encampment at the University of Arizona. Tensions have ratcheted up in standoffs with protesters in recent days.
And the South was again stuck by dangerous storms that have one boy fighting for his life. Severe storms stretched from Texas to South Carolina, leaving nearly 100,000 homes and businesses without power.
