As National Debt Grows, Senate Expected to Vote on $1.2 Trillion Infrastructure Bill Next Week


After about a week of debate on the bipartisan infrastructure bill, the end is near.

The Senate is expected to take a final vote on it in just a few days. The $1.2 trillion deal will likely pass with substantial support from both parties.

Because there are quite a few Republicans who do not plan to vote in favor of it and will likely use some of the 30 hours of post-cloture debate time, the final vote will probably take place early next week – and it is expected to garner the 60 votes need to pass and move forward.
